If your refund request is close to the time of departure for Hajj, you may not receive a full refund, if airline tickets have been issued, the Hajj visa being approved, and hotel rooms confirmed. In this scenario the customer will only receive partial refund as per our existing terms & conditions.

8. Difficulties

In the unlikely event that an applicant finds that there is an element in their package which they dislike and it is within the control of Al Muntada Travel, we will endeavour to correct such fault or report the problem to the proper authority for their immediate intervention. This does not include services which do not form part of the trip programme and or itinerary.

Please ensure that your luggage is securely packed and you can easily identify your luggage at the various stages when your luggage will be in storage due to group movements and within flight time. Al Muntada Travel are not liable for any lost or damaged luggage.

Please be aware that Al Muntada Travel do not offer any type of health insurance or cover.  Any costs incurred for medical assistance or other issues relating to health are solely the responsibility of the customer.

It may be necessary to increase the costs of the advertised package at any time without notice due to some elements beyond our control. If this occurs we will offer you the choice to continue your booking by agreeing to pay the additional cost or cancelling you’re booking and receiving a full refund of all monies paid.

9. Booking and Tickets

We endeavour to inform all applicants of the times and dates of travel as soon as they are confirmed by the airline concerned.  We will ensure that the confirmation is sent to each applicant (family groups will have one booking confirmation form listing all party members).  A fully completed booking form is the applicant’s sole responsibility. Full names must be properly spelled according to each individual passport, as late changes or alterations to the airline tickets will incur a minimum fee of £200.00 per ticket. Each applicant must have a valid ACWY vaccination certificate in accordance with Saudi Arabian policy for Hajj pilgrimage Visa. If any of the above are not notified to us within a specific time, we will not be liable for any difficulties and delays which may arise.

10. Delays / Date Changes & Flights

Please note that all fight information provided on our website, printed material, email mailshots and within our invoices are an approximate guideline for provisional dates for all packages. The exact dates for flights will be available once we receive the final confirmation from the airlines themselves. Al Muntada Travel have no control or say regarding airline flight schedules and times, these factors are not within our control. There are numerous factors to consider such as, adverse weather conditions, unexplained delays,  restrictions from air traffic control, unforeseen technical issues and also the absence of travellers boarding the flight on time. All of these mentioned factors are not within the control or responsibility of Al Muntada Travel.

We the agent reserve the right to change the departure dates without notice but we will endeavour to inform all applicants of changes made prior to the date of departure. However we will not be liable for delays and / or cancellation of flights to and from the United Kingdom resulting from adverse weather conditions rescheduling times by the Airlines, Airport  Authorities and / or actions by the Air Traffic Controllers, mechanical breakdown, strike or industrial action or otherwise, which are beyond our control.

11. Online Brochure/Adverts/Information

We have compiled the information in our online brochure to be accurate at the time of going to press. However, as the brochure and its corresponding information are prepared in advance, there may be instances where an advertised facility may be altered or no longer available, which will be for reasons beyond our control. It may also be necessary for us to change some detail concerning the trip programme and the itinerary due to circumstances beyond our control. It is essential that your expectations of the Pilgrimage do not surpass what we have outlined in our brochure or exceed the limitations of the Al Muntada Travel programme. We accept no liability for any disappointment which may arise as a result of your unrealistic views and expectations. Furthermore, the operation of certain amenities and facilities may be subject to local or religious laws. Maintenance and local energy conservation measures may mean that hotel or apartments may limit facilities such as air conditioning or water supplies and in some circumstances adverse weather conditions have been known to cause electrical failure. In such circumstances, we accept no liability for these restrictions; neither do we accept any liability for loss or damage arising from the above. The operation and supervision of overseas property, transport and other services are subject to local laws, regulations, standards and codes of practice of individual countries. The legal and safety requirements of many foreign countries are of a lower standard than that of the U.K. You should note that the standards imposed will be that of the country you are visiting and not of the U.K.

12. Accommodation

Aziziyah Stay

Please note that some of our packages will include occupancy in our Aziziyah building. This will be shared accommodation a minimum of five sharing per room.  Female Hujjaj will be in separate rooms and no mixed accommodation will be available in our Aziziyah building. There are NO mixed gender family rooms available within our Aziziyah building.

Our Aziziyah building is within the district of Makkah Province and is approximately 7km from Masjid Al Haram.

Makkah & Madinah Hotels

All information pertaining to room conditions and facilities has been supplied by our agents in Saudi Arabia and has been verified by us, we do endeavour to ensure that as at the time of going to press, the accommodation is of the highest quality which we can provide.

Please note that stated occupancies advertised on all our printed materials, website and social media platforms refers to the available options for occupancies within the hotels stay only. Hence the DOUBLE, TRIPLE & QUAD options refer to your desired selection for hotel type occupancy ONLY. These advertised occupancies DO NOT refer to the occupancies available in the Aziziyah or within you Mina camps.

The DOUBLE occupancy room’s configuration within the Hajj season, do not all consist of one double bed. The configuration within this busy period may also consist of TWIN bed configuration, this is due to the high demand of occupancy during the Hajj season and restriction of availability of providing just one double bed.

All Quad & Triple occupancy rooms within the Hajj period will consist of two single full size beds and the third or fourth bed will be a Day bed.  An upgrade to a family suite can be requested upon booking from the UK, however a family suite will cost more than the advertised Quad occupancy.

Allocation of rooms are determined by the relevant internal hotel Hajj booking team and Al Muntada Travel have no influence over which floors or what type of external view is allocated to each room. We would like to state that Al Muntada Travel CAN NOT guarantee, nor do we sell any of our packages based upon rooms having partial or full Haram view basis.

13. ATOL Protection

When you buy an ATOL protected fight or flight inclusive holiday from us you will receive an ATOL Certificate. This lists what is financially protected, where you can get information on what this means for you and who to contact if things go wrong.

We, or the suppliers identified on your ATOL Certificate, will provide you with the services listed on the ATOL Certificate (or a suitable alternative). In some cases, where neither we nor the supplier are able to do so for reasons of insolvency, an alternative ATOL holder may provide you with the services you have bought or a suitable alternative (at no extra cost to you). You agree to accept that in those circumstances the alternative ATOL holder will perform those obligations and you agree to pay any money outstanding to be paid by you under your contract to that alternative ATOL holder. However, you also agree that in some cases it will not be possible to appoint an alternative ATOL holder, in which case you will be entitled to make a claim under the ATOL scheme (or your credit card issuer where applicable).

If we, or the suppliers identified on your ATOL certificate, are unable to provide the services listed (or a suitable alternative, through an alternative ATOL holder or otherwise) for reasons of insolvency, the Trustees of the Air Travel Trust may make a payment to (or confer a benefit on) you under the ATOL scheme. You agree that in return for such a payment or benefit you assign absolutely to those Trustees any claims which you have or may have arising out of or relating to the non-provision of the services, including any claim against us, the travel agent (or  your credit card issuer where applicable). You also agree that any such claims may be re-assigned to another body, if that other body has paid sums you have claimed under the ATOL scheme.

14. Our Commitment

Al Muntada Travel has taken all steps to ensure that your Hajj journey is conducted with minimum difficulties and as comfortable as possible. In the event that any difficulty should arise which has not been mentioned above, we will endeavour to correct such difficulty without any delay and with minimal inconvenience.
